2G/3G Router Technology

Geneko 2G/3G Router GWR Series is result of integration of recent and reliable technologies from mobile communication, processor and operating systems areas in order to provide a system for computer networks, PCs and remote devices connection over GSM and UMTS networks.

Central position in GWR Router system is reserved for strong and reliable processor device based on ARM technology monitoring and regulating the system operation on the whole. WAN connection to GSM and UMTS networks is provided by GSM/UMTS module using GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA/HSUPA protocols. Central system provides communication with outside devices through Ethernet, RS232 and USB connection. The whole system is based on reliable and efficient operation system Linux providing all necessary functions of modern router at ARM processor core. Beside static routering function this operation system performs as well all other functions characteristic for network routers, like: DHCP server, IP filtering, NAT/PAT translation, etc. System concept enables great flexibility and adaptability of this device providing its use for other specialized purposes as well.
