Users of Fox FMS system, through their working
stations, have access to central database and GSM
gateway service. They can use for communication the
internal TCP/IP network (Intranet) or Internet. On
client working stations within monitoring center
desktop applications Fox Admin, Global FMS and Fox
Notifier are installed. All client-working stations
can get access by web also.

Desktop application Fox FMS Admin
Desktop application Fox Admin is client application
designed for administration of basic parameters of
the system (data on vehicles, devices, users...) for
analysis of data by generating printed and
electronic reports as well as for remote change of
parameters and software of Fox AVL devices. Fox
Admin enables data update on users, vehicles, Fox
devices, backup and import of data, remote commands
to Fox devices, generating and export of reports,
control of fuel consumption and detection of sudden
fuel level changes (pouring in, out...). Fox FMS
Admin is installed on clients of monitoring center,
but it could be installed on any other remote client
who has access to database on Fox FMS server by
using Intranet network.

Fox FMS Admin - Desktop application |
This application enables completely identical way of
defining clients and their rights in the system
regardless of their location. Competence levels of
the clients, i.e. users, regulate access to various
functions and resources of the system. System
administrator in the unique database defines whether
remote clients will have the same rights as the
clients in monitoring center or they will be
deprived of certain rights, i.e. certain activities
forbidden.

Desktop application Global FMS
Application Global FMS is client application
containing vector maps and it has implemented
functions for visual monitoring of vehicle position
and status in real time, for audio-visual alarming
and defining vehicles routes, region and geographic
markers significant for the user. Global FMS also
enables analysis of vehicle movement history and
terminology survey. It is installed for clients in
the monitoring center and for remote clients in
Intranet for those who have access to database and
Fox server. Beside basic ones, application Global
FMS enables also administration of markers and
regions. Markers are geographic locations with exact
coordinates marked by symbols on the map.

The application enables the user to find out
whenever necessary whether certain vehicle is
located near some marker or not and, on request, to
find out which vehicles are nearest to the marker.
The marker can be placed on any coordinates on the
map and they have the additional attributes (name,
radius...). The regions are closed areas of
approximate size and form, not defined by road
routes. The regions have also the additional
attributes: name, color ... Global FMS enables the
user to find out at any moment whether a vehicle is
in or out of the region as well as to get the list
of all statuses and events on the vehicles that
happened and are happening in the certain region.
The region becomes quite easily the route of vehicle
movement under condition that the region is defined
around roads representing desired route. The
application enables the user at any moment to have
insight which vehicles broke the rules of movement
along the routes and to react adequately.

FMS Notifier
Fox Notifier is also a part of desktop package of
Fox FMS system. It is the service which can be
installed on clients PCs within monitoring center
that have access to web service through Intranet, or
on PCs that communicate on them through Internet.
Basic role of this program is to inform PC users
about some critical vehicle conditions chosen by the
users. Graphic interface of this program is placed
in System tray, and when some of the vehicles are in
critical condition (activated alarm or panic taster,
empty accumulator...) the user is informed by
lifting in Pop-up window.

FMS Notifier |
FMS Notifier is practical in situations when the
user does not want to monitor permanently the
movement and status of the vehicle on the map, but
wants to be informed about critical status of the
vehicle, regardless of the fact whether its Global
FMS or browser with web monitoring application are
started or not.
