Fox CAN 

FOX CAN device supports FMS and SAE J1939 standard - open standards for vehicle parameters monitoring. Regarding to FOX CAN, AVL Fox devices are compatible with the vehicles with FMS interface which makes the installation easier, decreases expenses for AVL system exploitation and offers more precise data. FMS interface in commercial vehicles ensures direct connection with CAN bus and the option of reading numerous parameters: vehicle speed (from tachograph and the wheels), clutch and brakes status, gas pedal position (0-100%), RPM, axes weight, total operation hours, coolant temperature, fuel contents in the tank in liters, time remaining until the next servicing (Km) and a lot of other data.

FOX CAN reads ALL data from FMS or SAE J1939 bus. Through FOX AVL system the following information has been transferred for the time being:
1. Vehicle speed read from its tachograph
2. Route in kms read from tachograph
3. RPM
4. Total fuel consumption in litres from the first use of the vehicle (as per this data fuel consumption between 2 times points could be read on server)
5. Km until regular servicing
6. Axis weight (if the vehicle has sensors for axis weight reading)
